Fixing Services & Local Crew
A trusted local partner for production teams working in Scotland.
Overview
We have been supporting agencies and crews travelling into Scotland since 2018, sourcing locations, local crew, airport pickups and ATA Carnets, arranging transportation, supply and delivery of cameras, supply of production kit and coordinating hybrid crews to deliver shoots right across Scotland. We know the landscape well and can fit seamlessly into your production team while bringing together some of the best professionals Scotland has to offer. Typically crews we work with are between 3-12 persons shooting between 1-10 days.
We offer some of the latest tools to facilitate remote production, allowing us to work on-location remotely with producers and directors overseas. Enabling live in-camera footage reviews, high quality remote interviews and even talent direction from a director sitting at their computer or tablet on the other side of the world.
Cameras & Kit
We hold a SONY FX9, SONY FX6 and an FX3 camera inhouse with a selection of SONY G Master Prime lenses, as well as, a Blackmagic Design URSA Mini Pro G2 4.6K [EF Mount]. We can also source ARRI, CANON or RED HELIUM Cinema cameras with 48hr lead time and huge variety of other lens systems and filters including SIGMA ART, COOKE and ARRI MASTER PRIMES.
We have a good stock of C-Stands, lighting stands, clamps, backgrounds, batteries, wireless monitoring, onboarding camera monitoring systems, Client monitors [19-inch SUMO SE], lighting, LED, RGB strips and remote operated diffused soft lights and small spot lights as part of our inhouse kit.
Drone Operations
We keep three aerial vehicles, a DJI INSPIRE, DJI MAVIC PRO 3 (including pro remote and fly more combo) and DJI Mini 4K including in a current PDRA01 Operational Authorisation along with the mandatory Flyer and Operator IDs registered with the Civil Aviation Authority. We’ve conducted aerial filming in some of Scotland’s most rugged and heavily regulated airspace and can provide all of the necessary paperwork including pre-planned flight schedules, aerial risk assessments and flight plans for drone flights anywhere in UK Airspace and can request special permissions for aerial operations within restricted airspace. We also hold the A2 Certificate of Competency (A2 CofC) allowing us to fly closer to people with our larger drones, as well as, operating in residential or more populated areas with a sub-250g drone.
